Serenity Fun City is a 8-minute walk from the beach and located on the west bank of the Red Sea in the area of Makadi Bay. One of the most striking features is the Theme Park, a unique amusement park in the Red Sea Region, including the Aqua Park with a variety of water slides and pools for all age ranges, Luna park with various games, kids club, children's playgrounds, video games room and 6D cinema. The accommodation will provide you with a satellite TV, minibar, in room safe; each room has a balcony or terrace with different views. Private bathroom with shower comes with a hairdryer and free toiletries. In the Serenity Fun City you will find a shared beach area with sister hotel Serenity Makadi Beach and a tennis court. This Resort offers a main buffet restaurant an a la carte restaurants - Italian, Asian, as well as food court and 4 large bars either in the lobby or at the swimming pools with an aqua park view.

It was amazing and I recommend it to families as it is perfect for families
The staff was very friendly and the rooms was always clean and the location was perfect for trips going to the beach etc the entertainment team was super duper friendly and loving and a big shoutout to them for making my holiday 10 times better.
Wouldn’t Return
The hotel is generally ok, quite tired and old. The staff (apart from reception) are what make the holiday, so hardworking, polite and will do anything for you. I dont think they get enough credit. Main buffet resembles a cattle market, lots of rude foreign guests with no manners, don’t queue and let their kids run riot. Absolutely pig ignorant!!!! After the first day, we ate in Tau everyday, gorgeous food, quiet, enjoyable and amazing staff. The slides and wave pool are really good and suited the ages of my 3 kids. Kids club were amazing with my little boy, special thanks to them. We had 2 rooms and didn’t arrive until 2am, we were told we couldn’t have a late check out for either and no options given for a courtesy room - flight home was midnight. Very poor customer service. Glad I didn’t book longer than a week and would not return.

Amazing family holiday
Honestly we had such a lovely holiday here! There are a couple of down sides to the hotel one being the entertainment on the evening and not really much to do, another the alcoholic drinks not enough variety and very very strong to taste, and no nappy changing units anywhere in the hotel other than one in the toilets by the pool! However there are lots of amazing points about this hotel! Very very clean pool was lovely and bars easily accessible, we had two amazing waiters when we went for our food Hassan and Khaled honestly couldn’t fault either of them and amazing with my little boy! They actually made our holiday so much more amazing for us as a family! I honestly couldn’t praise them more I would go back to this hotel just for this fact (all the staff I came across were amazing and friendly and very helpful) And then there’s our house keeper Mohamed we were in room 5155 I would highly recommend asking for one of these rooms on this corridor just to have him as your house keeper as again I’ve never met anyone so friend y and lovely and would do absolutely anything for you as a family!
More Than a Hotel — It Felt Like Family ❤️
Absolutely amazing – we will definitely come back!
This hotel exceeded all our expectations. I travel quite a lot with my children, but I have never experienced a holiday where we had so much fun and felt so comfortable.
Even though I was travelling alone with my children, we never felt alone. We truly felt like part of a family. The service was absolutely perfect. The waiters were incredibly kind and attentive. Whenever they noticed someone sitting alone, they would come over, have a little chat and make sure that person felt happy and welcome. That really touched me.
The rooms were spotless, the whole hotel was beautifully clean, and even the water and all the facilities were very well maintained. The food deserves more than a 10/10 – everything was delicious and there was always something for everyone.
The location, the atmosphere, the cleanliness and especially the amazing staff made our stay unforgettable. My children are already missing the hotel so much!
For us, this was a truly beautiful experience, and if we travel to Egypt again, we would absolutely come back here. We can’t recommend this hotel enough! ❤️

We had such an amazing holiday at Serenity Alma Heights in Hurghada and couldn’t recommend it enough! The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained — the whole resort feels lovely, relaxing, and in a perfect location.
The food was fantastic — so much variety, always fresh, and something delicious for everyone no matter what you’re in the mood for. We never got bored of the dining options!
The animation team honestly made our holiday extra special — they work so incredibly hard from morning right through to evening, always full of energy, friendly, and ready to get everyone involved. The shows they put on were brilliant, really entertaining, and clearly put together with so much effort — they did an outstanding job keeping all the guests happy and having fun!
A huge special thanks to Sami — he helped us out so much throughout our stay, went above and beyond for us, and was such a lovely, helpful person. Also, big credit to the boss of the animation team too — you’ve built such a great team, and it shows in everything you do!
We also want to say a massive thank you for the beautiful birthday celebration you organised for my sister — it made her day so memorable and really added that extra special touch to our holiday. 💛
All the activities were great fun, the atmosphere was perfect, and we left with such happy memories. Thank you to everyone at Serenity Alma Heights — we’ll definitely be back! ✨
