Lemon And Soul Makadi Garden

We had a vacation in June 2026. We chose it because it used to belong to the Labranda hotel chain. Next, I will tell you about the pros, cons and plus, I will tell you the situation that arose during the rest.

Positive:

1. The territory of the hotel is well maintained, there is a garden, the pools are quite cozy.
2. There are several bars (standard cocktails, open until 00:00), showtimes every evening.
3. Good restaurants on site. Good food, coffee. But it seems to me that they inherited it from Labranda, because last year they stayed at another hotel (which was also a Labranda chain before) and there was exactly the same equipment, exactly the same menu.

Minuses:

1. There is no beach from the hotel anymore. When it was there, the quality of this beach was 2 out of 5. The sand was all trampled down, no one had loosened it with a rake. Nobody cleaned the entrance to the water either. But there were beaches of neighboring hotels where everyone swam.
2. The location is such that you will not leave the hotel anywhere (there are several construction sites and a desert around). Hurghada Market is 40 km away (taxi only).
3. The first time it happened, they constantly left tips or chocolates in the room (brought from home), but they never wrapped swans out of towels. I wouldn't have ordered that I needed it, but it was kind of weird.

Now about the situation itself: We rented a hotel for 15 nights. We spent half of our vacation there. 06/11/2026 An animator came up to us on the beach of the hotel and said that the beach was closed tomorrow and go to the reception for all questions. Naturally, all the vacationers (and that's about half of the Russians/ half of the Germans) started discussing what and why. Rumors began to spread that the beach did not belong to the hotel, and they rented only a piece of the beach from a nearby hotel, where repairs were underway. At the reception, they said that there is no more beach and there won't be yet, and they don't know when it will be at all, and they added relax by the pool. Naturally, this did not suit anyone, because Everyone comes here from across the sea, and everyone can swim in the pool at home. We asked the reception for an official paper with a signature and seal stating that the beach was no longer there, to which they said that they did not have such authority, only the hotel manager could do this and he would be there only tomorrow morning. When asked to give the manager's phone number or that they would call him right now to clarify the situation, the reception staff refused everything. The next morning, the reception desk already said that the manager had the day off, then they said that he was on vacation. They found out from other hotel staff that he was staying at the hotel. We went to the reception again and they refused again, but after swearing with them and our statement that the manager at the hotel, they "kind of called him" gave us the phone, we told him that we were waiting for him at the reception with the rest of the hotel guests to clarify the situation. This alleged "manager" said that he would come up now, and as a result, no one came.… Further, as it turned out, the hotel where they rented a piece of the beach increased the rental price and the manager of our hotel did not want to pay it! In other words, the hotel manager doesn't care about his guests, and the lack of access to the sea is the guests' problem. None of the staff at this hotel bothered to properly assemble the hotel guests and properly explain the situation. No one offered alternative options with other beaches. No one even apologized to the vacationers for the current situation (except for the words "we're sorry, come visit us in a month or two"), just take a piece of paper with our "explanations at the reception" (they refuse to put a seal and signature). Naturally, after all these deceptions, this attitude, we demanded compensation or relocation to another hotel and naturally received from them the answer "that this is not our problem, we will not compensate anything, contact your tour operator." And the fact that all the guests paid for the hotel, where at that time there was "its own beach", no one cares anymore! And I would like to add that there is no other access to the sea there, since all the beaches are assigned to the territories of hotels and they are simply not allowed there!

You're avoiding this hotel. Its owner just doesn't care about his guests. They are not responsible for anything!

I had an amazing experience at Lemon & Soul Makadi. Everything in the hotel was absolutely wonderful, from the high-quality service and clean rooms to the overall vibrant atmosphere A huge thanks to the restaurant staff, especially Mohamed in the restaurant, for his incredible hospitality, professionalism, and friendly attitude that made every meal special. The entertainment was the highlight of our trip! The Animation Team is just fantastic and full of energy. Special thanks to the Animation Chief Turki for his great leadership and amazing shows, to Omar (Sports) for keeping the energy high, and to Wika and Jessy for their lovely spirit and constant smiles. They truly made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended hotel, and I will definitely come back soon!
