Guests of neighboring hotels will cross the resort for a spa treatment but all you will have to do is step out the front door.Only 30 km away from Hurghada Airport the resort is easy to access but admittedly difficult to leave. Of course you can not blame guests for getting attached. Between the on site pampering incredible water sport scene and tantalizing rhythms of the Souk Makadi nightlife you have got the makings for a holiday that lasts. With so many wonderful things going for it. it is no wonder that Jaz Makadi Star and Spa has won so many industry awards in the past few years.

Lovely hotel
Great hotel to recharge the batteries. However if you’re wanting a long sandy beach this hasn’t got it as they are all segregated to each hotel which was a shame. That said, hotel, staff and restaurants were very good.
Excellent hotel
This is one of the best hotels we've stayed in!! Rooms were very well equipped and designed. Staff could not do enough for you The choices and quality of food were excellent The beach was beautiful, safe and had everything needed. There was a bit of a blip when a group of people arrived and stayed for a few days - they were anti social, rude and intimidating (one person actually exposed himself in front if other guests). The hotel staff kept their cool and dealt with them with dignity. When they left and the celebrations (both staff and guests) died down peace and tranquility was restored & we went on to thoroughly enjoy the rest of our stay. Bravo Jazz Star and thank you!!

Perfect holiday
11 nights of getting spoiled by amazing staff,room was kept spotless by machmud . Drinks,sweets,pastries brought to us as we sat at pool, even a guy cleaning your sunglasses. Hotel grounds are kept immaculate. Big choice in restaurant ,pool bar menu was delicious,Ali and Ahmed kept the drinks coming and were super friendly as were all the staff throughout the hotel. Beach area is quite small but drinks and snacks available along with excellent snorkeling. The staff here are all fantastic,I can't remember all their names. I cannot think of anything bad to say about our holiday. We will be back next year, it was perfect. Thank you all.

Outstanding
What an amazing stay. From welcome drinks to departure. This hotel cannot do enough for their guests.
The food was of an exceptionally high quality, beautifully presented at the main restaurant, the poolside bar and the beach bar. Allergens were pointed out next to dishes. There were four fresh hot food stations as well as the buffet the main restaurant
We were waited on constantly both poolside and beachside.
Staff in all areas were so happy in their roles and tried to learn our non-Atabic names and addressed us personally.
The cleanliness was of a very high standard.
We felt like Royalty most of the time.
The animation team had a few issues. They struggled on some occasions to gather a group for an activity but why invite guests to play darts and whilst they are playing, invites to another activity are taking place. The overlap was evident daily. One male member of staff only invited and chatted to a select few and constantly missed us from his visits. Observationally he seemed distracted a.lot of the time.
This would not deter us from returning. We are making plans to return.

The best of the best
We have just came back from our second stay at this amazing hotel wow what can you say the hotel and grounds are beautiful the food and staff are the best the animation team work so hard and are always attentive and seem to enjoy what they do the pool team carnt do enough for you the chefs and especially the head chef who is like Gordon Ramsay always wanting things wright keeps the staff in place a big thanks you. You walk into hotel and from then on it’s a plus everyone is so helpful and pleasing wanting everything to be perfect for us it was. We did have a small issue with some polish guests trying to spoil our holiday but we are bigger than them lol we would never stoop so low to let anyone spoil our holiday if this is what these people are like go somewhere else to party sorry this a amazing hotel is for people who want to relax in the great surroundings and wind down from there day to day hectic lives the hotel is getting some work done near by but it don’t really bother or cause any issues a must is the coral reef for snorkelling carnt fault this hotel any off the staff thanks for a great Holland will be back
