If you are looking for a hotel where you can completely forget about cooking, cleaning, and the concept of a diet, Giftun Azur Resort is your spot. My husband and I just spent a week here, and honestly, we survived to tell the tale (mostly thanks to the open bar and the Red Sea). Here is the honest, slightly humorous breakdown of our stay. 1. The Territory & Vibe. The territory is huge, green, and very well-kept. It feels like a little oasis. However, a word of advice for your marriage: do not let your husband walk in front of you without a map on the first day. My husband managed to get lost on the way from our room to the beach, which is impressive considering the sea is literally right there. The bungalows and buildings are charmingly retro—think classic Egyptian resort style that has seen some things, but everything is clean and works. 2. The Beach & Red Sea. This is the absolute crown jewel of the hotel. The beach is wide, sandy, and there are enough sun loungers that you don't have to wake up at 5:00 AM to stake your claim like a tactical general. The water is crystal clear. My husband spent so much time snorkeling that I'm pretty sure he started negotiating rent with the local clownfish. If you want a stunning coral reef without paying a fortune, this place delivers. Highly recommend Sheriff Egypt for tours! Their prices are much lower than what hotel guides offer, which is a huge plus. We booked the Cairo mini-group tour (capped at just 8 people) with a private guide, plus the Super Safari, and both experiences were incredible. Their guides speak fluent, excellent English and are very professional. If you want great service without overpaying, definitely book with them! 3. Food & Drinks. Let’s talk about the real reason we all go to all-inclusive resorts: the emotional support buffet. The Food: There is plenty of it. You will eat things at 10:00 AM that you didn't know existed, and honestly, you won't care because they taste good. My husband's personal KPI for the holiday was testing every single dessert. Spoiler: he passed with a sugar coma. The Drinks: Standard Egyptian all-inclusive rules apply here. The local wine and cocktails are... an adventure. Pour generous amounts of ice, smile at the bartender, and remember you are on vacation. The beach bar became our second home. 4. Service & Staff The staff is exceptionally friendly, polite, and always smiling. They work incredibly hard under the heat. A special shoutout to the housekeeping team, who managed to fold our towels into terrifyingly realistic swans that stared at us from the bed every evening. We eventually named our towel-swan "Grigory" and treated him like a pet. The Verdict. Giftun Azur Resort 3* is not a luxury five-star palace with gold-plated faucets, but it honestly doesn't pretend to be. It has soul, an unbeatable beach, great energy, and it gives you exactly what you need to disconnect from real life. Would we come back? Yes, absolutely. Just as soon as my husband recovers from his addiction to the morning pancakes and I find where he hid the room keys. Highly recommended for couples who want a fun, stress-free beach vacation without breaking the bank!

What an absolutely fantastic hotel versus it gives the perfect warmth of Egypt.The animation team are absolutely fantastic.They are always putting on different shows and activities throughout the day and in the evening if you're somebody who likes to relax by the pool that is also an option as well as the both of the pool and the beach are on site within walking distance of each other, which is an absolute brilliant touch as it means you don't have to be walking too far to get a beach. There is also so many different events that go off from festivals, pool parties, beach parties and eye much more this hotel is a perfect mix of relaxation and activeness would recommend it to everybody
