An unforgettable family holiday – highly recommended!
Every detail of Pickalbatros Sea World Resort impressed us! We have travelled to many places around the world, but we have never stayed at a hotel quite like this.
The resort is enormous, yet everything is spotless and beautifully maintained. It is impressive to see so many staff members working constantly to make sure guests enjoy their stay. Everyone is kind, attentive and helpful, and we truly felt that our satisfaction mattered to them.
We would especially like to praise the lifeguards at the pools. They are genuinely attentive, notice even the smallest details and step in immediately whenever needed. As parents travelling with two young children, we found this particularly reassuring.
The food is delicious, with a fantastic variety to choose from at every meal. Our three- and five-year-old children absolutely loved their time here, and my husband and I were just as delighted.
It is rare to find a holiday where everything feels so right. We were thoroughly impressed and would love to return! We wholeheartedly recommend this resort – a well-deserved five stars! ❤️
Disappointment
Two years ago we had amazing vacation at the Pickalbatros Portofino. Unfortunatelly, we regret that we did not go there again and chose the the Sea World Resort from the same brand instead. We requested a quiet room close to the beach as traveling with a toddler and pregnant wife. We got one right next to a restaurant under a complete renovation - a lot of noise as well as dust coming out of it. So we had to ask for a room change. Rude receptionist tried to offer another room for extra charge (a room free from noice and dust should be a standard), then offered a room on a first floor, then another one ca 15-20min walk from the beach… then finally got a room somehow ok. They use WASTE water to water the lawns. Not only that it stinks but it often splashes the pavements. So if you walk after dark, you can get completely splashed by this waste water. Many tiles in the hotel (poolls / restaurants / pavements) are extremelly slippery, with or without shoes. Every day you see people slipping or even falling. Very dangerous! Internet kept disconnecting, we had to connect manually ca 15 times per day. Three times there was a short electirity outage in the evening. The only hotel shop is really using the monopoly so they have easily a 500% margin. That would be ok if prices are shown. There are no price tags at all and they just quote prices based on their mood. I am surprised the hotel supports this practice. In the kids area with kids pools and waterslide there is not a single sunbed, only standard chairs. They renamed one of the restaurants. The problem is that at most of the maps, incl the one you receive at the reception upon check in, still show the old name
On a positive note, the food was generally nice and there is an elevator to reach the water slides which is quite unique.

Fantastic stay at Pickalbatros Sea World
I stayed at Pickalbatros Sea World with a friend, and we both had a fantastic experience from the moment we arrived. The resort is absolutely huge, beautifully designed and very well maintained. There is a lot of space, plenty of greenery and so many different areas that even after several days you still feel like there is something new to discover. Everything is clean, organised and well looked after. Our room was excellent. It was spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The whole resort has a very pleasant atmosphere and feels like a proper five-star resort. The choice of food was also very good. There was plenty to choose from, with different options available throughout the day, so we never had a problem finding something we enjoyed. The restaurants and common areas were clean and well organised. The pools are another major highlight. There are so many different pools and areas that you can easily find a quieter place to relax or something more lively if you want entertainment and activities. The whole resort offers a great balance between relaxation and fun. The beach and the Red Sea were also fantastic. The coastline is beautiful, and the sea is perfect for enjoying the Red Sea atmosphere and exploring the underwater world. I would definitely recommend bringing a mask and snorkel. The staff deserve special praise. Everyone we met was friendly, polite and helpful, from reception and housekeeping to the restaurant staff, bartenders and lifeguards. The animation team also did a great job and helped create a really enjoyable atmosphere without being too intrusive. There is also plenty to do during the day and in the evening, so you certainly won't get bored. Whether you want to relax by the pool, enjoy the beach, take part in activities or simply have a good meal and a drink, the resort offers plenty of options. For me, Pickalbatros Sea World is exactly what I expect from a five-star Pickalbatros resort: beautiful surroundings, comfortable rooms, great facilities, good food and, most importantly, friendly people who genuinely make you feel welcome. I would definitely come back and I can happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great holiday in Marsa Alam. 5/5 – a fantastic resort and a very enjoyable stay.
The Best Pool Service and an Amazing Atmosphere! 🍹☀️
We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, and the service was absolutely amazing! A special shout-out to Khalil A., who is without a doubt the best waiter at the pool. He is incredibly kind, friendly and genuinely fun to be around.
Khalil A. always brings the drinks with a big smile, has a joke with us, chats with guests and creates such a great atmosphere around the pool. His positive energy really makes a difference and adds an extra special vibe to the whole experience.
Overall, the service at the hotel is fantastic, but Khalil deserves a special mention for going above and beyond and making our time by the pool even more enjoyable. He is absolutely brilliant — friendly, funny, caring and just an all-around amazing guy!

Excellent service
I would like to take a moment to recognize and sincerely thank Mr. Ahmed Elsehemy for the exceptional service he provided during our stay. From the moment we arrived, Ahmed Elsehemy was incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive to every detail.. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. I would also like to recognize the entire staff at the Resort as well as Khaled the one who provides the bikes for our entertainment and Mohamed Hamed in the reception. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, respectful, helpful, and committed to making our stay enjoyable. This was our second time in the resort and won't be the last.
