Wonderful
The place is wonderful and very clean. I loved the stay I had. The food was more than exceptional thanks to chef Hany. It was fresh and delicious and clean. I would definitely go again.

I had a great experience thanks to the exceptional help I received from the front desk staff. Ibrahim Hassan was extremely helpful, professional, and attentive throughout my stay. He went above and beyond to assist me with everything I needed and made the whole experience much smoother and more comfortable.
It’s rare to come across someone like Ibrahim who is genuinely so helpful and willing to make an extra effort for guests. Their excellent attitude and professionalism really stood out to me. I truly appreciate all the help and would definitely recommend this place because of his great service.
Just wonderful
Another wonderful holiday here at Ancient Sands. Booked again via EasyJet Holidays, and only problem was return flight was 40 minutes late leaving. However, flights were good, planes were clean, and staff were really customer-focused. Worth the extra cost of booking seats together to make sure you sit next to each other. The private transfer to the hotel was excellent. The hotel was just as good as last year. The rooms are large and very clean (thank you to Shehata). Only 1 three pin socket, but there are now USB connectors provided. All toiletries are provided and topped up whenever needed. There's now a stocked fridge (but at an extra charge), although bottled water is free. The whole staff go above and beyond to help you; they are friendly, helpful and informative. Thanks especially to Karim at Reception for all his help and advice. There is now an app, which was really quite useful. The food in the main restaurant is served buffet style and was excellent both in choice and quality (special thanks to Chef Muhammed for his French Onion Soup). The Spa was really good; clean, quiet and with great massages, although the Turkish Bath was a novel experience. We only used one pool (out of the 5 on site), and thanks to the lifeguards and the pool boys, Samuel and Malek, who provided drinks all through the day. The bar staff in the Mint Bar were so friendly and remembered your favourite drink very quickly. Thanks to Mina and Magdy. The entertainment team did a really good job each evening, and there was a mix of outside guests (including a standout Michael Jackson impersonator). The ATM at the hotel had a much better rate than I was able to access at home, although the Crédit Agricole ATM charged an additional commission. All in all, a wonderful holiday, and we've booked again for next year.
