Our onsite restaurant also offers delectable Brasserie style cuisine with freshly prepared seasonal dishes. El Gouna is about 25 km from Hurghada and is easily accessible from the international airport. It is set along kilometres of beachfront with seawater lagoons islets and unique architecture. First-Class Experience at Ancient Sands
From the moment we arrived at Ancient Sands, we were made to feel genuinely welcome. The entire experience has been first class, and the staff have played a huge part in making our stay so enjoyable.
Our room was exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained, with first-class beds that made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Housekeeping consistently did an excellent job.
The bar service was fantastic, with friendly and attentive staff who always made the effort to look after us. The waiting staff throughout the resort deserve a special mention too — their attention to detail, friendliness and willingness to help really stood out.
The food offered a great variety, with plenty of choice and something different to enjoy throughout our stay. The quality and range made every meal an enjoyable experience.
The reception team were exceptional. They continually went out of their way to accommodate our requests and make sure that every need was met. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and that level of personal service really made a difference.
Overall, Ancient Sands has provided us with a truly first-class experience. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning again shortly — this time with our family, so we can introduce them to what we believe is a very special place.

The place is absolutely stunning — breathtaking open views, a beautiful atmosphere, and such a peaceful vibe that makes you completely relax and enjoy every moment.
The service was exceptional, and a very special thank you to Mohamed and Mina! They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and truly made our experience even more special.
Everything about this place was perfect — the view, the atmosphere, the service, and the feeling of pure relaxation. Definitely one of the highlights of our stay in El Gouna and a place I would happily come back to again! 😍✨

Beautiful steak friendly attentive staff
Beautiful al la carte meal at The Piazza Ancient Sands golf resort. Soup to start with a range of breads. Ceaser salad followed by steak and peppercorn sauce topped off with desert. Service is great. Staff are so attentive. Mohamoud the chef cooks a lovely steak!
