Commented to hotel staff the breakfast items which should have been hot were only just warm. Would have expected eggs at least to be cooked while you wait in 5 star hotel. Not a moan just a comment.Everything else excellent. Would hope to go back some time.

Lovely views directly onto the beach and sea. Good size very comfortable, quiet rooms with big tv showing BBC 1&2, nice bathroom. But no tea making facilities until we asked for them. We were told our room grade did not qualify for these, but we were resentful at being expected to pay over 6 euros every time we wanted cups of tea! Tea making facilities in room should be standard in a five star establishment, we think, and they have promised to get around to providing these possibly next year (2016).

The menu was the same all week, which provided excellent cuisine and sufficient choice for the sameness not to matter too much; except for the desserts. Only 6 of these and not too imaginative, so we had to choose the same dessert twice, whereas in the breakfast room there were lovely gateaux, inappropriate for breakfast, which would have been fine on the dinner menu and improved the choice.
On Christmas Eve they put on a magnificent and generous Gala dinner with wine at no extra expense than our pre-paid half board package. The staff were all friendly folk. Breakfast was excellent with an wide choice.

The only grumbles: We asked for an early morning alarm call, but they forgot. Good job we woke at 6.30 am anyway. The parking is expensive at 16 Euros a night. Out of season it was not too difficult to park on the street for free, but in season ?!
Also the Spa, since it was Christmas with fewer customers, it was free, but normally would have been poor value at 20 Euros each time. In season there would have been the outdoor pool and the sea as alternatives.

We enjoyed this stay. We don't make a habit of returning to the same place, but if we did we would return here.
