Great experience with staff, good breakfast, and location is much convenient
My football group (6 teams) stayed the last week of June in the Rembrandt Hotel. They had a great time.
The service and people are good. They were friendly and accommodating...... staff was ready to help us anytime Natty.
We had issues with room and the staff was very kind and eager to help us and find solutions Natty is very nice.
Location & First Impressions: The Rembrandt Hotel is well-situated, and the lobby entrance makes a strong first impression. However, the experience inside the rooms tells a completely different story. The Room: The beds were extremely uncomfortable. To their credit, management moved me to another room, but the bed was still unacceptable until they added a mattress topper, which made it only moderately better. I was placed on a supposedly "refurbished" floor, but the room felt dingy and poorly cleaned. The interior workmanship was substandard, and the room generally looked beaten up—I can only imagine the state of the unrenovated rooms. Facilities & Dining: The lobby bar has a noticeable smell of mold and dampness, and there was loud construction activity during the afternoon. Dining was equally disappointing: breakfast was unappetizing, and the dining area featured broken chairs and worn furniture. The property is in desperate need of a major overhaul. Service & Knowledge: The staff were generally polite, and basic lobby perks like door attendants are present, but the foundational hospitality falls short. The concierges and bellhops lacked basic local knowledge; when asked for directions to Asok MRT station, they had no idea—despite it being an 8-minute walk straight up the street. Verdict: The hotel suffers from illusions of grandeur. They need to fix the basic fundamentals before focusing on small cosmetic details.
