This hotel lies in the holiday resort of Trianta-Ixia and is just across the coastal road from the beautiful sand and shingle beach, which can be reached by taking the underpass. A public transport stop is just steps away. There is a regular bus service that can be taken advantage of to Rhodes Town, some 3,5 km away. Situated amidst generous gardens with colorful several trees, this air-conditioned 15/6-15/9 hotel comprises 2 main buildings as well as several bungalow and family complexes and a total of 377 holiday accommodations. Facilities include an inviting lobby with a reception, internet corner, 4 lifts. There is also a pool snack bar, a main bar, a TV room and a non-smoking restaurant. Younger guests are welcome in the kids club and the playground. The tastefully appointed rooms have a bathroom with hairdryer, bathtube a direct dial telephone,satelite TV,Wi-fi (fee). Guests will also find a mini fridge, air conditioning 15/6-15/9 and a balcony or terrace in the stylish rooms. The family rooms are a little more spacious than the double rooms and affords views of the pool, garden and the sea. In the well-kept outdoor complex are 2 swimming pools, a children's pool, a pool snack bar and a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use. Sports enthusiasts are offered an aerobics class, table tennis, basketball and bocce. For an additional fee, guests may also enjoy billiards/snooker, video games and internet corner. Great location
Overall we had a positive experience. The room was clean with a lovely sea view. The main pool area was nice however you need to get up early to secure a sunbed around the pool. There are sunbeds on the grass areas more readily available. The food was ok as always we all inclusive it was a little repetitive. Unfortunately 2 out of the 6 of us got a sickness bug the last couple of days and one of the children got an ear infection from the pool and had to visit the hospital for antibiotics. Looking at recent reviews other people have had sickness bugs which is a shame as the hotel is lovely in a great location and the staff were amazing 👏
A well balanced hotel with something for all.
A very nice all round experience. The hotel has everything you need for either a family holiday or a break with friends. The food is plentiful and of good quality. The hotel is clean and the staff who work here are so kind and helpful. The entertainment team are very energetic and provide a lovely balance of fun for all ages. Leslie heads the show and is ridiculously welcoming and entertaining. I've visited with my family previously and they loved him and all the activities. Overall it's a fantastic place for the price.
Clean hotel aesthetically pleasing
The hotel itself is lovely. Staff friendly. Room a bit on the small side but comfortable. The cleanluness generally good although we had a squashed mosquito not cleaned off the wardrobe door when we arrived. Beautiful sea view. Location good. Taxi station over the road is ideal. My only problem was the restaurant. Tuesdays is fish night. It stunk and everything was fish related so we walked out and went to shop next to hotel for snacks on our first day. Breakfast was always the best. Only had lunch their twice. Once at pool bar which was nicer than main restaurant. Pizza night. Pizzas were lovely but my daughter is vegetarian and they used the same pizza cutter therefore she wasn't able to eat the cheese one. This is also worrying if someone has religious beliefs or allergies with cross contamination. Ice cream is help yourself at pool bar for a few hours every day. The banana is phenomenal. Entertainment. We only did the music quiz night that was really good and caught a bit of the white night which also seemed canny. Sunbeds... towels were put down the night before. Didn't affect us as we dismantle want beds til late afternoon and managed to grab a couple. On the whole we had a fab time. But def take mosquito repellant as they are rife!

Nice Hotel!
Just returned from the Sol Cosmopolitan. Firstly can I say how clean the hotel was, it was immaculately clean! The staff where amazing, helpful, polite and friendly. The Hotel was a little tired, we were in the 7th floor, the rooms were modern and nice but the corridors where worn and in need of a refresh, the floor near our room was cracked and broken. The pool area was great other than the great sunbed race each morning. Plenty for the children to do with entertainment by the pool everyday. The food! This is where it lacked. There was plenty of food every day and although there was a theme each night it seemed to repeat the same dishes. Be aware that drinks are included but if you want a named brand you have to say for these. The biggest issue for us were the lifts in the main hotel. As we were on the top floor waiting for the lift was a challenge, would it come up in good time, would it be full, would it stop on each floor but no one could get in so had to wait for the other lift! Lift roulette was not fun! Overall we did enjoy our stay but would not return to this hotel again but this is due to the location, we love Greece but would not return to Rhodes. I would highly recommend Meliá hotels, I have stayed in a few and always found them to be good value with great staff.

We have just returned from an amazing week at Sol by Meliá Cosmopolitan, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better holiday. From start to finish, everything was excellent.
The food was fantastic and the service throughout the hotel was outstanding. A special mention has to go to the housekeeping team, who were always so friendly, kind and hardworking. They did a wonderful job and were always smiling.
We would also like to give a special mention to the hotel manager. He was around the hotel every day, speaking to guests and making sure everyone was happy and had everything they needed. He was genuinely friendly and approachable, and it was lovely to see a manager who was so involved and clearly cared about the guests’ experience.
But the biggest THANK YOU has to go to Leslie and the entire entertainment team! They absolutely made our holiday. There was something going on every day, and they created such a fun and lively atmosphere throughout the hotel.
Leslie is absolutely fantastic at what he does. He has so much energy, enthusiasm and personality, and you can really tell that he genuinely loves his job. What we particularly loved was how he managed to create entertainment for everyone – from activities and fun for the children to great entertainment and events for the adults.
He really went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a great time, and he deserves a huge amount of praise. The whole entertainment team were brilliant and helped make our week truly unforgettable.
Overall, we had an absolutely fantastic holiday and would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
We will definitely be back! ❤️
