Tucked away in lush gardens and ringed by pine trees, this hotel is certainly in a good-looking pocket. Factor in a golden sandy beach that's just a five-minute walk away - plus the shops and bars of Hanioti just a little further on - and this place scores high marks for setting. Sleek and simple describes the hotel itself. On the outside you've got wooden balustrades, whitewashed walls, and terracotta roof tiles. They've gone for the minimalist look, and statement headboards stand out against the cream backdrop. Slick touches include LCD TVs and minibars. It's worth mentioning that air-conditioning is available in each room. What really sets this place apart, though, are the staff. The personal touch is really rated here, and that comes across in the form of home-cooked meals. Breakfasts are a help-yourself affair, while dinner is à la carte –with a twist.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

The suite we had was spacious. Large balcony. The downside to be aware of is the very busy noisy road the hotel is next to. Not relaxing by the pool either as very loud music played all day probably trying to drown out road noise. Breakfast buffet selection good but at busy times difficult to obtain your selection as breakfast room very small. The staff are all friendly.
Beautiful little quite resort, staff very welcoming , rooms lovely and clean. The cleaning staff freshen the rooms every day and do a fantastic job. Breakfast is fresh with a nice verity of hot and cold foods for all nationalities. The manager Yannis is a joy to be around and is very helpful. The two boys who look after the pool and bar area , can’t do enough for you. Would definitely come again. Just what the doctor ordered, to to relax
Lovely hotel , twin rooms are compact but have everything you need , very clean! Breakfast had a variety of options and always clean and fresh. Staff more than helpful and welcoming !
There’s a lot to enjoy……
We’ve had a great 9 nights at Hanioti Village Spa Hotel. For late September we have experienced warm temperatures during the day which has allowed us to spend time relaxing on our balcony and taking quick dips in the pool. On a couple of cooler days we used the gym. The evenings are quite chilly at this time of year so extra layers are a must. The breakfast is really varied and plentiful and the veranda style setting makes it the perfect place to start your day (The staff are incredibly attentive) The restaurant wasn’t serving food in the evening but it was no trouble for barman Mike to order take away pizza for us when we arrived late on our first night. The village of Hanioti is a short walk away, with lots of traditional tavernas & shops. There are some excellent restaurants at great value. We also enjoyed a slightly further walk to Pefkochori and then a gentle stroll along the promenade of eateries, ice cream parlours, arcades and gift shops. I would describe both regions to be more commercialised than quainter Greek island locations. Although we didn’t use the beach it was also a similar short distance away. Our room was kept very clean by Mariama throughout our stay, a kettle was provided when we asked and WIFI really good throughout the resort. We appreciated good netting on the balcony doors as we’re not keen on sharing the room with insects 😂 (didn’t see a single mosquito) We were conscious of the proximity to the main road prior to our holiday and arrived prepared with ear plugs to ensure blissful sleep. All in all a very peaceful relaxing break. Thank you to Jet2 Holidays and the team at Hanioti Village.
I really enjoyed my stay at Hanioti Village Resort & Spa. The first thing you notice is how peaceful, green and incredibly clean the whole place is. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with lots of greenery, and there is a very calm, almost pastoral atmosphere. It really feels like a place where you can switch off and relax.
The room was very comfortable and had a lovely balcony with two chairs and a table, which I really appreciated. One of the absolute highlights for me was the shower. It had several hydro-massage jets coming from different directions, as well as a rain shower, and it was honestly fantastic. I could have stayed in there forever. A good shower is actually a very important part of a hotel room for me, and this one was easily one of the best I have ever had in a hotel.
The queen-size bed had a very comfortable COCO-MAT orthopedic mattress, and I slept extremely well. Another detail that really impressed me was something I had never seen before in a hotel: there were two different pillows on the bed, one softer and one firmer, so you could simply choose whichever was more comfortable for you. Such a small detail, but such a clever one.
I also loved the spa area. The hammam and Jacuzzi were simply wonderful. It is not a huge spa, and that is actually part of its charm. It feels intimate and private, perfect for two people or a very small group. You can really relax there and forget about everything outside. I only went twice during my five-day stay, and afterwards I regretted not going every day.
The swimming pool is not huge either, but it is very pleasant, with comfortable sunbeds and everything you need to spend a relaxing few hours there.
Breakfast was very good, with a large and varied selection and plenty of choice every morning.
The reception staff were always polite, friendly and helpful, and the service throughout the hotel was very pleasant. You can really see how much effort goes into keeping the whole property so clean, green and well maintained. I hope they continue exactly like this.
The only thing I really missed in the room was a kettle. There was a small fridge/minibar, but no basic tea or coffee-making facilities. I ended up ordering coffee through a delivery app, as I did with some of my other meals. Even for a three-star hotel, I think a simple kettle with some tea, coffee and sugar would be a very useful addition.
Apart from that, I had a really lovely stay. It is a peaceful, comfortable and very well-kept hotel, and I would be very happy to come back again.
