We have nothing but praise for the Annabelle Hotel and will certainly book to stay there again.
The staff at the Annabelle hotel were friendly, cheerful, and efficient. A home from home experience at an excellent location.
Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable.
The hotel staff were friendly and approachable.
We have no complaints.
Extremely well managed in all aspects, staff went out of their way to please and inform
A pleasant and soothing holiday, the staff were friendly and helpful and generally the food was excellent. More than enough sunbeds and shades - no pushy drinks waitresses. Very helpful management and a lovely room and situation
Great hotel, lovely staff, drinks extremely expensive , food good but evening meal exactly the same every week. Needed to see a doctor but the receptionist sent us to a private clinic which we were not aware of until we arrived there and the general hospital was not far from the private clinic. We were also told we could not reach it by bus and we would have to use the taxi service that they got for us.
Very helpful and pleasant staff.
This is a fabulous hotel right on the promenade and the beach. Staff were amazing, so helpful and always smiling. Rooms were spotlessly clean. Megan, George Maria and all staff in the Fontana Restaurant were excellent. Staff in the Amorosa A la Carte were professional and knowledgeable about the food and wines on offer and very attentive. Diana on reception always helpful as we our Mercury Rep Fiona. Room service came and turned down our beds in the last two weeks what a lovely touch as they left a flower and a different poem on your pilllow. I would most certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a first class hotel in Paphos. Easy walk to Harbour area and the Mosaic Museum. Car hire was very reasonable through Fiona. We would go back there without a doubt. All the pool staff are helpful too with lovely clean beach towels available. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful too. Nightly entertainment was excellent in the Lounge area.
We had a lovely holiday at The Annabelle which is a well run hotel with delightful staff. The rooms are spotless and service is both friendly and efficient. Annabelle has an excellent chef so we enjoyed a high standard of food - some of his dessert were to die for! We also enjoyed the various local musicians who played nightly in the bar. Highly enjoyable but not intrusive. The decor does need a little updating but I gather this is shortly to commence. The pool area is well run, with friendly staff always on hand to help. Lovely decks with ample loungers. Finally, the hotel's many cats need a mention. Clean, friendly and healthy, they were made a great fuss of by the mainly British guests!
The prices of drinks were very expensive in particular the cost of a bottle of wine. We noted that there was nothing on the wine list priced less that E24.00 per bottle.
The Annabelle never fails to impress no matter how many times you visit.
A good Hotel but problems with queuing at some meal times.
Well furnished and well kept public areas and guest rooms. Staff were helpful and professional. Overall good value for money
it was such a pleasure to be treated so excellently the food nd the staff were so caring and helpful My husband is disabled and they could not do enough to hep us making sure we had a lovely table for dining and helping to push the wheelchair around the restaurant they were fantastic
All Staff very good.we have been many times It just gets better.
The Anabelle is superb in all respects, in particular the staff, they were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The holiday overall met all our expectations.
The room first allocated was not to our liking. However, this was changed with no hesitation the next day to an excellent room.
A very well run hotel in an beautiful location. The staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to ensure their guests were well looked after.....nothing was too much for them. The hotel was very clean and well maintained and although there was some queuing at meal times the restaurant staff were very kind and courteous.
Absolutely 10 out of 10 for this Hotel.
Best holiday ever.
Service food staff excellent
Couldn't fault it
Wonderful hotel and staff. Unfortunately the hotel representatives were unable to confirm that they would be closed next February.
The hotel was as every perfect it was my 70th birthday staff made it special. One small criticism it was noisy during the day due to building work.I know this has to be undertaken during the winter months.Otherwise a lovely holiday Fiona the holiday rep was fantastic sorting a few small problems we had.
All the staff were friendly and professional, with nothing to much of a problem. The hotel was spotless, the location is excellent. The notification of allergens in a meal was superb, the only problem was was that there was not enough gluten free options. Apart from this the variety and quality of the food was excellent.
Excellent Hotel The management and staff work very hard to please.
lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff. Food wonderful. could not ask for more.
every was as you would expect from the Annabelle. Although the food has always been good this year was excellent.
The staff were polite and friendly and helped everybody enjoy their holiday.
We both would and will return again. Next year I would suspect.
When checking in we were asked if we were smokers, when I said no they said thats good because we are a "NO SMOKING" hotel.
The room allocated was 404, when we stepped out of the lift we could smell a strong smell of smoking in the corridor. on walking to our room and entering it the smell became stronger. I rang reception and they came straight up to the room and agreed it was unpleasnt, and showed us another room at the other side of the hotel. The view was not as pleasant and there was no guaranty that the other guests in this area were non smokers.
We agreed to keep 404 and they agreed to speak to the smokers, who were evidentley alowed to smoke om the balcony, but had been smoking inside because it had been raining. the other guests left after three days and we had no further complaints
Good not fault the hotel or the staff. Excellant
As a 5* hotel we were delighted with the room, facilities, food and most especially the exceptional staff who looked after us. They may be one of your best assets.
We were amazed at the high price of drinks, especially water. Complimentary water would be appreciated with the evening meal.
Our first time in a 5* hotel and look forward to returning in the future.
Excellent hotel deserves its 5 star status.
Extremely comfortable and friendly
The staff at this hotel are superb. They can't do enough for their guests. Hotel is kept spotlessly clean.
Staff excellent. Food amazing.
Would recommend hotel to friends.
Food: we particularly enjoyed going into Amorosa and the seafront waiter service restaurants as a change from the main buffet.
Every individual member of the hotel team be they on reception, in the dining area, pool area, room cleaning etc. without exception were all excellent and professional.
Had a really good experience.
An excellent hotel with service excellent in every way in every department.
The Annabelle always maintains a very high standard
very pleasant hotel, easy walk to the harbour and shops and friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
Great holiday no problems
We travel with Mercury Holidays for the good service and value and we have been with you seven times.
One of my best holidays! Travel, transfers & hotel all fabulous.
A very enjoyable fortnight heightened by excellent weather. The Annabelle is a first class and substantial hotel offering a fine combination of quality public rooms, lovely terrace/gardens and pool, along with a high-end buffet. This is our first experience travelling with Mercury and we have been very impressed. Other than a minor query on the terminal departure which was easily resolved in a telephone conversation with you all arrangements were as outlined in your clearly laid out correspondence. Indeed from flights to transfers and hotel check in and out all as it should be. Congratulations on a job well done. We will use you again
A very nice family hotel plenty of staff to attend to everyone. Pool areas kept very clean and staff in attendance to assist if required. Would certainly travel with you again and also the Annabelle Hotel.
Location and staff contributed to a wonderful holiday.
We were very pleased with our superior sea view room & thought that it was well worth the extra cost. The hotel & facilities were excellent & we really enjoyed the rest of our holiday. We want to book again for next year.
The food was excellent with a wide variety. We would definitely travel with you again.
A thoroughly enjoyable break at a wonderful hotel.
A great holiday. Fiona is a superb rep and is available when you need her.
Lovely hotel staff excellent especially Elena in the restaurant. Sunbeds excellent our second time there and will return next year.
Excellent value. Overall better all round and is now 5 star. Now that the restaurant and dining areas have been modernised/upgraded it has proved a better ambiance for guests. Also the choice and quality of food has vastly improved .
An excellent holiday, very pleased with all the arrangements.
A very nice hotel at which we stayed 7 years ago. All the staff were exceptionally helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. The other guests were very pleasant. We couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more.
A very good 5 star experience
Lovely hotel & surrounding gardens, ideal location
Excellent staff, so helpful &friendly, just like a close family, will be returning for a third time, you could not find better
Food not quite as good as last year, but still good.
food was poor for a five star hotel this would not get 4 star from me the only great part was the staff who was great and made you feel at home as best as they could.
the staff in this hotel in ALL departments always greet with a smile, nothing is too much trouble, they go out of their way to help and make your holiday a most enjoyable experience which is why we return there and have already booked for 2017.
We were disappointed with our original room as we had paid for a sea view room and we could only see the sea but leaning over thr balcony and peering to the right! However,we were offerered several alternative rooms but eventually paid to be upgraded to a superior sea view room which we loved. The staff were all fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. We absolutely loved it and hope to return next year.
The staff were superb. Helpful, always smiling. Made to feel very welcome. Spacious room, with balcony facing the sea. Just right.
The food at lunch/evening could have been enhanced by a wider variety of cold meats. Also on the dessert counter...fruit salad. The food could have been hotter.
Evening entertainment, good but very similar. The occasional upbeat session would have been well received.
a wonderful hotel in all respects. we could not find fault in any way and we would love to return in the future
Wonderful, comfortable hotel
Cannot fault this hotel. We requested a seaview room with some privacy and were given a suite away from prying eyes. Wonderful.
Lovely hotel, wonderful service and staff. Very nice ambience.
The evening entertainment is not very good, only two good nights per week and they are Wednesday and Thursday
Food at the Almira was more to my liking, more
English and less Cypriot!
This was a quite exceptional experience of friendliness and good service which we have never previously had in any of the hotels we have visited over many years.
This is a wonderful hotel that offers first class customer service. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Lovely side sea views. The hotel gardens are pretty with water features and great tranquillity.Perfect location on the sea front with lovely sea-side walks in both directions. The 3 weeks for 2 is amazing value; that's why the hotel is full all through the off season. This has been our second visit and we have already booked with you for next year. I cannot praise this hotel highly enough.
As usual staff very friendly and accommodating. Food was good although renovation affected the way in which it was served (buffet dishes a bit hard to manhandle). This is only a minor criticism and we will be going back next year.
Superb hotel, extremely welcoming and helpful staff in every department. We were lucky enough to be given an upgrade to an executive suite which was lovely. The situation is excellent & the gardensbeautiful.
very comfortable hotel, and all staff in all areas very extremely polite, friendly and helpful
Food was often luke warm. The salts and peppers were often empty. The same applied to the occasional breakfast and dinner we had at the Almeira. We were not the only ones to mention this.
The place to stay for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday adjoining the beach and close to the Harbour.
Staff were always helpful and friendly. Buffet style meals, whilst understandable, can be a bit bland.
Hotel facilities are excellent.
Staff from Doorman to Room cleaner are attentive, friendly and efficient
Every member of staff, to a fault, was friendly, efficient and couldn't do enough to assist.
Our only negative comment would be that, although the food was excellent, the choices for hot dinners were too repetitive week on week.
The location of this hotel, a short walk to bus station, archaeological park, supermarket, banks, souvenir shops, churches and cafes was ideal for us.
We were not surprised to learn that many travellers seeking Winter sun regularly return to The Annabelle Hotel, a friendly and efficient establishment offering excellent value for money.
Lovely hotel, well situated and good management.
Charming ,hard working, very pleasant staff throughout the hotel.
Plenty of tasty food ,something to please everyone.
A very happy holiday .
The Annabelle is a wonderful hotel, the staff can't do enough for you. Our room was upgraded to a studio room with its own plunge pool as we were returning customers, and the room steward, Zena did a superb job every day. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, George, the Restaurant Manager and all his team were superb, and we have had one ofnthe best holidays we have ever had.
Excellent service with a smile always from all staff, attention from maintenance when a problem occurred with the hinges on a sunbed
Friendly and obliging staff
Beautiful gardens/pool etc.
Health facilities of Almyra Hotel
Uses facilities at Almyra to gain 5* status.
Food a problem lunch and dinner menus provided overcooked food and at times not hot.
Staff extremely helpful and friendly.
Hotel and rooms very clean,
Could do with better reading lights in the bedrooms.
Comfortable hotel, spacious , quiet room, very good service throughout
We will be back.
Great service and excellent accommodation. Ideal location close to harbour and Kato Pahos amenities. Our 4tyh visit and we were not disappointed. Fabulous weather also which helped to make the holiday.
Room was in need of refurbishment. Clean but definitely not 5 star. Would class it as a 3 star.
Always a pleasure to stay at the Annabelle
This was a wonderful hotel in an excellent location. We were most impressed with the staff who were all very courteous and helpful and went out of their way to ensure all the guests were well looked after. The food in the Fontana Restaurant was generally OK but sometimes not as hot as it should be. The variety of food, particularly at breakfast, was excellent. We had a wonderful three weeks and would highly recommend the Annabelle if you want a relaxing holiday by the sea. The entertainment in the Lobby each evening was rather variable and was sometimes so loud that conversation was impossible!
second visit to the annabelle and its never let us down, staff, service all very good. Work was going on whilst we were on holiday but they gave us certain concessions, would have liked to have known about these works before booking holiday. Also was not happy with room and asked for a move which they kindly agreed. The Annabelle and all its staff were very nice, will return. Also the rep for Mercury, Fiona was excellent
A first class holiday! The first time we have gone with Mercury, we definitely Would go again with this company. The Annabelle hotel was first class too!
A good quality hotel in an excellent setting on the waterfront and close to the new town centre. Very pleasant and private gardens, seaview room with an excellent view along the waterfront and superbly efficient and very friendly staff at all levels. The hotel has a very impressive "feel good" and relaxing atmosphere; also commented upon by several other residents.
Building works were underway but of limityedirritation
Our second stay at The Annabelle - we stayed at the same time last year - and it is testament to the hotel that a number of this guests we also there last year. The Annabelle really do make you feel that nothing is too much trouble for them and that your stay is appreciated.
The staff make the hotel , they are excellent.
Coffee is awful ! but that is minor, as all the coffee in Cyprus seems the same. ( Except CoralBeach hotel
I have emailed you about the severe damage to my
case, by the transfer to airport bus, and lack of any care by the driver !
This was our third visit to Pathos and our first visit to The Annabelle. We were not dissapointed and it certainly lives up to its 5 star status. On our arrival we were upgraded to Room 366 (Presidential Suite).
This was more special as it happened to be my wifes birthday during our stay. The main resturant was being renovated and all our main meals were being taken in the Ballroom but this was no hardship.
We shall certainly visit again in the not too distant
For the money paid the holiday was excellent.
If I had to find something wrong I would point out that the entertainment during the evening meal was too loud and we were unable to have a conversation. Mainly it was the pianist who seemed to accentuate the notes and was at times deafening. She was an excellent pianist but seemed to get carried away. I had guests one evening who stated that they would never return and stay at the hotel due to the noise.
I would have thought that it was cheaper and better for the hotel to have quiet background tapes rather than noisy but good musicians.
Overall experience of the hotel was very good, but although we are in the senior age group, we felt at times that we were in a deluxe nursing home! The background music was sedate and annoying at times. The dining room (temporary apparently while the main restaurant was being upgraded) was very hot and very much a bit of a 'bun fight' with long queues most days. The food was good but buffet style which left some dishes rather cool when people left the lids off or open and the same courses were repeated daily with minor variations.
We can however recommend either the al' carte at the hotel (at no extra cost, but you have to book) or the food especially at lunch time at the sister hotel Almyra which is just next door.
The hotel service was excellent and the staff in all departments were very friendly and obliging.
Excellent room, worth paying for de lux sea view. Should be child free, no facilities for them. We're not made aware of building refurbishment, including closure of swimming pool and main restaurant. We would not have booked the holiday if we had been made aware.
Staff try very hard to please everyone and are polite and friendly. Convenient location and nice surroundings.
We encountered one or two issues with information etc. We were advised that the gala buffet dinner on christmas eve was black tie when in fact it was smart casual, quite embarrassing. Secondly on 2 separate occasions we had drinks added to our account which we had not purchased, in 1 instance we were not in the hotel. On our day of departure we were in the breakfast room. Having had cereal, we left full cups of tea & coffee, fruit juice and water plus my wifes, medication on the table whilst we went for toast. On our return we found the table had been completely cleared and re set and there were 2 guests sitting there. These incidents are not acceptable in a 5* hotel. We spoke with the operations manager who informed us we were 100% correct in our complaints and they were wrong. He profusely apologised and said he did not want us to leave the Annabelle unhappy and assured us that these complaints would be rectified in future. He did ask us to return sometime later this year.
This hotel has totally grasped the concept of customer service and all the staff are friendly, courteous and provide a lovely environment for a holiday. The staff have to be commended on the quality and standard of their food and service, and in particular George the restaurant manager was attentive and 100% on top of his job. As a ceoliac sufferer they could not have been better and the choice provided was superior to that in many restaurants at home. The hotel setting itself was close to the amenities of Paphos without being in the town and the landscaping of the gardens provided a tranquil area in which to relax. Accessible to lovely walks and harbour area.
room was smaller than other 5 star's
food was good, better at Almyra next door
I just think the hotel should look at the food heating methods . On several occasions the food was very cool.
This was spoken about by quite a few guests.
Personally the water used to make the coffee tasted and smelt strongly of Chlorine. We found it undrinkable. Thankfully in the middle of our stay a very sweet waitress solved the problem by bringing us hot milk and sachets of Nescafe. Other than this we would still go again.
The hotel exceeded all expectations and was amazing...
The Annabelle is a lovely hotel with a luxury setting but a family feeling. Nothing is too much trouble and everything has been thought of. It is spotlessly clean and immaculately maintained. Probably not the facilities for younger families or for those looking for lively entertainment, but could not be better for people of our age group who like a peaceful and serene setting to relax in
Our main view was that the hotel did not deserve the 5star classification because the food was supplied principally in the form of a buffet. This meant that one felt as though one was eating in a canteen. The room was a little tired, the shower door leaked water onto the floor and the sink did not retain water. However the hotel was clean, the staff efficient except at the Sunday meals and the aspect of the hotel was pleasant
Our room was excellent. We requested a walk in shower as we are disabled and were given a studio suite. this was excellent for us as we could sunbathe on the terrace/balcony.
However a couple of things we found not to our liking. The music in the lounge after dinner was extremely loud and we could not hold an easy conversation. I did tell this to reception but was told this is how its done.
Also we are vegetarians and although the chefs showed us suitable food for us, we found it very similar at each meal. Also all the hot food was cold!
Good points with food, bread was excellent and the homemade jam too.
Loved it, friendly staff and great facilities. It is good to have a choice of using the Almyra, which is quieter and a little more formal. We went there for several meals.
The Annabelle is an excellent hotel that has lost none of its charms over the years. The staff are absolutely fantastic.
First Class Hotel with superb staff. Excellent holiday
All staff were polite, very kind and caring. The food was not good at all. Early breakfast cooked food was cold, bacon hardly cooked. Luncheon and evening meals boring and tasteless. Didn't look appetising too. Very disappointed.
Hotel cleanliness is excellent.
Choice of food was poor, mostly only one choice was possible. We feel the hotel was struggling to maintain it's five star status.
We did request a quiet room on a high floor - but on arrival got given a room right outside the hotel lounge where music went on until 11pm. We requested a move after two nights and the hotel did this immediately, very efficiently and with no fuss.
Hotel generally excellent - but air conditioning not very effective and hot water unreliable.
We have stayed in 5 star hotels across the world and the Annabelle was as good as any in most respects. Location, service, accommodation, facilities, gardens and pools could not be bettered. However, apart from the excellent breakfasts, the food though good tended to be bland in the main buffet restaurant the Fontana. Cuts of meat were the cheapest at dinner and although beautifully served it was a let-down and we heard similar comments. You get what you pay for and as this was a bargain perhaps it was to be expected.
Service was good. Food was way too average. Typical buffet fayre, with 'hot' food generally only lukewarm. Desserts looked lovely but had little real taste to them.
Whilst the hotel is excellent some of the rooms and facilities are getting a bit tired.
The hotel staff are very efficient and obliging, nothing is too much trouble for them.
Very good selection of food and good quality served up by David the English chef.
As in most hotels the price of drinks are inflated but there are bars close by to frequent with very reasonable priced beverages.
Great holiday thank you Mercury.
NO HOT FOOD PROVIDED ON FIRST NIGHT THE RESTAURANT IS OPEN TILL 9/00 PM WE WENT INTO THE RESTAURANT APROX.8/30 PM NO HOT FOOD AVALABLE I HAD BREAD AND CHEESE MY WIFE HAD A BIT OF SALAD
FAULTY LIGHTS IN OUR ROOM TWICE FIRST TIME I HAD TO CONTACT RECEPTION THREE TIMES TO GET BULB CHANGED IT LASTED ONE NIGHT REPORTED TO RECEPTION AGAIN THAT I THOUGHT WIRING WAS FAULTY TOLD SOMEONE WOULD LOOK AT IT STRAIGHT AWAY NOBODY CAME
AS WE WHERE ON HOLIDAY I WAS NOT CHASING SO CALLED MATAINENCE OR RECEPTION BY HAVING TO KEEP INFORMING THEM OF THE FAULTY LIGHT THE LAMP IN THE LOUNGE AREA ONLY LIGHT IN THAT ROOM FAILED SO WE HAD NO LIGHT IN THAT ROOM TNIS IS NOT A 5 STAR HOTEL GOING OF OUR EXPERIANCE WITH RECEPTION AND MATAINENCE I/E REPORTING FAULTS AND NOTHING BEEING DONE ABOUT IT
An excellent hotel all round-additional bonus of sister hotel The Almyra being next door and all facilities were interchangeable between the two hotels.
The Spa and adult only facilities at the Almyra were fabulous.
All was more than satisfactory, room, view, service, staff, but felt hotel was rather penny pinching as there was no water at mealtimes unless purchased. Other hotels expect purchase of beer, wines etc. but jugs of water also available free. Also tea, coffee, milk in bedroom very precisely rationed to one cu p of tea and one cup of coffee per person daily. Small complaints maybe, but seemed at odds with the rest of the facilities.
The food has deteriorated since 2 years ago. This is the opinion of many guests that I spoke to that were on repeat visits.
Wonderful hotel and very friendly staff. The staff who worked there last year welcomed us back. Plenty of delicious food to choose from every meal time. If we had a problem this was seen to very promptly. We will definitely be returning next year as will a lot of the returning guests who we had previously met at the hotel.
Staff were always excellent and very attentive at all times. The rooms and general common areas looked like they needed upgrading. Gardens and pool area very nice but again a lack of investment and maintenance e.g. pool tiles missing. However we loved the hotel overall and would definitely go back again.
Room requested was said to be not available and the room allocated was swarming with ants and without a sea view for which we paid. In what we were told was a full hotel they found a more acceptable room even though it was very noisy.
Food varied from very good (the majority) to poor but the serving staff were faultless.
Halve the price of drinks and more people will buy them instead of buying in or going to the much cheaper bars. And the background music(?)is terrible, another reason to go out for the drinks
However the hotel is lovely and when we go again as me probably will, we will email them direct with actual room numbers.
As usual the Annabelle was excellent. Our room was well appointed & spotless. The hotel staff are really friendly & cannot be more helpful.we shall certainly return..
Still a lovely hotel with attentive staff. Food quality not quite as good as last year but Puddings are lovely!
Bar and table wine prices a bit high.... a Happy Hour would be very welcome
Staff very friendly and helpful. It was our third stay at the Annabelle and we will be back.
We have a number of dietary problems but the second chef David sorts us out. The restaurant has started labelling food that contains gluten, nuts and sugar which is very helpful.
we like this hotel but the food this year was not quite the same standard as last year, there was probably 2 evening meals each week where finding something to eat was not easy but this will not stop us from returning next year.
Warm welcome, comfortable hotel,we are returning in February.
Dining room uncomfortable for a relaxing evening meal, lacks atmosphere and feels very rushed.
Wine expensive for what it is.
Breakfast and lunch ok.
The hotel is a little tired and needs a refurbish in parts. The buffet was rather bland. This hotel is redeemed by the outstanding staff - whatever the department, they were all friendly, smiling, efficient, professional and helpful.
Hotel was excellent 3rd time we have stayed there and will certainly going again.thought the bathroom was getting ready for a bit of a refurb(minor point)all in all had a luvly holiday would recommend it to anyone.we loved to sit on the beach front area and as my wife was disabled found it a bit difficult to access . Hope to go again next year. Regards. Paul
Food warm,not hot.
Not much choice on the salad bar.ie.no cold meats, only onion, beetroot, tuna once during our stay.
No diabetic counter
Do not cater for cushions for the adjoining promenade sunbeds unless asked for. Then only minimum available ( 6 for approx. 25 sunbeds ) - 3 years ago this was not a problem and cushions were readily available.
A really lovely hotel, with good food and excellent staff.
looking to potentially return in April and we NEVER go anywhere twice
A warm and calm welcome from staff with cool towels and cool drink. None of the usual rabble on check in. The staff are exceptional. The hotel itself is well located with beautiful gardens. The public areas and service are 5 star . We will revisit.
Lovely hotel with excellent food and service.
Hotel excellent. Good location, very pleasant staff.
first class in all aspects, worthy of its 5 star rating
Excellent hotel all round
EXCELLENT FRIENDLY STAFF
This was our third visit to the Annabelle with Mercury and again it was fantastic. The staff were exceptional, the cleanliness of our room and all the other rooms was first class. The food again was very varied and delicious. All in all, a wonderful hotel.
Good friendly service, very attentive staff, and a very good location
Very good reception at the Annabelle. All staff friendly and efficient. Excellent restaurant staff.
Very good hotel. Staff excellent. 3rd time we have stayed. Will do so again next year, provided price remains competitive and the standard of The Annabelle is still maintained.
Peter and Gaye Denley
Good position, lovely serene hotel fitting Cypriot character, room excellent and staff friendliness exceptional. Buffet meals good but not really 5*
An excellent hotel with exceptionally customer-focused staff. The buffet food was varied with lots of choices. Desserts were particularly delicious. The room was comfortable with side sea view. Tranquil ,attractive gardens with waterfalls and water features. Entertainment every night - singing duo particularly good and great for dancing. The 3 for 2 deal from Mercury was incredibly good value. We'll stay again.
Words can not describe the hotel, staff and the resort
On arrival we were upgraded then at the end of week two were upgraded again and transferred to the Almyra. Two wonderful hotels, different; but each deserving of their status.
The staff are delightful and genuine in their desire to help. Thoroughly recommended and will be back for more!
Very friendly staff, most helpful
We were returning guests so we were not disappointed.
Extremely well run hotel. Customer service top rate. Staff very efficient and friendly
GREAT AS IT WAS 20 YEARS AGO.
Friendly and welcoming staff as usual in lovely surroundings
Beautiful hotel we will visit again.
Very helpful guest relations team. Very helpful and friendly staff. Food is excellent - plenty of choice including healthy options. Great to have kettle + tea making facilities in room, which was spotless.
On holiday I am always realistic. The one big question is "Is it value for money?". This holiday was EXCELLENT value with the hard-working, friendly and efficient staff combined with first class food making it a very enjoyable experience.
Great location and excellent staff
This was our fourth visit and as always the staff are extremely helpful and always prepared to go that extra mile.If i had a request it would be that there were more english t.v. channels besides the news.
Great location and wonderful staff made for a most enjoyable holiday.
Would like better lighting - for reading - in rooms please.
No complaints what so ever. All members of staff very friendly and efficient.
A lovely hotel, perfect location. Staff and service was first class.
The Annabelle is a very good hotel with excellent staff who are friendly and helpful.
We especially enjoy the gardens and the position of the hotel is excellent.
The service in the dining room was not quite as good as last year because they seem to have cut back on number of staff -not the fault of the staff as they were working very hard and still managing to be friendly and welcoming.
Excellent hotel, great staff
Extremely good service from the staff, even though the hotel was at 80% capacity. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Excellent. Welcoming, friendly, helpful staff. Our room was perfect for us and we were very pleased with the size of it, the comfort and the view from the room. Also the balcony was very private being on the end and was not overlooked by any other room. From the moment we arrived we felt 'at home'. The other guests seemed very happy with their choice of hotel and all this made for a happy and friendly atmosphere. Thank you so much!
I shall be doing a positive Tripadvisor revue.
A lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. It would have been nice if tea or coffee were included with lunch and dinner. Easy duo entertainers excellent 3 evenings a week. Pianists not as popular. Pool could have done with heating.
The staff at the hotel are all very helpful and friendly which made for a very good and relaxed atmosphere. The food was of good quality and plentiful in the evenings but lunch was aimed at hot food which, on a full board basis, was just a bit much. If you want evening entertainment in the hotel (which we didn't), this was a bit poor. Overall, very happy with the hotel and would go again.
Very comfortable, staff very obliging, very good value
Very enjoyable holiday at the annabelle food was lovely no complaints at all
Very comfortable hotel. Great value. Well trained polite staff. Terrific food.
Excellent service especially where staff were concerned also the quality of the food only wish the weather had behaved just as good. Would gladly go back and recommend the hotel
Superb stay and perfect staff
Enjoyed a wonderful holiday at The Annabelle. The staff were all excellent and couldn't do enough for you. Would highly recommend it.
3rd time we have been to this hotel and would go again.
Your representative Fiona is excellent and knows what she is talking about.
This is a great hotel. We visited many times between 1994 and 2000. Still a warm welcoming place to spend a holiday.
On the deal that we had (3rd week free on B & B) it is not fair to compare the experience we had during the 1990's. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
My 2nd stay and I hope to return again next year.....Very helpful staff, a relaxed atmosphere, ideal location....perfect!
Fabulous holiday. Great hotel and very pleasant staff. Nothing is too much for everyone. Dining arrangements need to be
better organised and the sun beds on beach
should have cushions. Apart from these points
we will definitely go back, possibly next
Beautiful gardens close to Paphos Harbour.
I have food intolerances (gluten and lactose) and the restaurant displays gluten content for all dishes. Executive chef was very helpful and made the effort to help me with lactose content also. Alternatives were prepared especially for me if required.
All the staff throughout the hotel are friendly and obliging.
A lovely holiday.
Superb spa facilities at adjacent Almyra Spa and facility to dine at both hotels was a huge bonus.
I always enjoy this hotel its one of the best for location, comfort and service.
The whole experience was very good, and would return again in the future.
very pleased with hotel staff very welcoming and polite, extremely helpful, and obliging' everything went very smoothly from flights to transfers. would appreciate packed lunch when on full board, on days when not in hotel.
Fantastic hotel which lived up to it's 5* billing except for the food.
Breakfast was good not quite so the evening buffet.
Despite this we will be returning.
Overall the hotel was very good.Good points being
(1) Food at hotel was excellent
(2) restaurant staff were very efficient, willing and helpful
(3) Chef always willing to speak to guest and listen to complaints
they had about the food
(4). Cleaning staff also very efficient and friendly
(5) pool staff and gardeners very efficient
Room(423) very noisy with rubbish collection during early morning deliveries noisy
Some of the male reception staff were not at all helpful and gave the opinion that they were doing us a favour by speaking to us.They should go and watch the restaurant staff to see how to deal with clients
Finally I would like to praise Fiona the Louis/mercury rep.she is everything a company rep should be.Willing listener and very helpful in all matters
Hotel staff are very friendly and welcome you back and are very pleased to see you. They also work very hard particularly with regard to the meals.
Wonderful hotel. Food not as good as last year.
we were upgraded to a suite in the Almyra Hotel so did not stay in the Annabelle so these ratings are for the Almyra. The staff are fantastic so helpful and we had a meal at the Annabelle one night and preferred the Almyra!
Another most enjoyable stay at the wonderful hotel Annabelle in Pathos Cyprus. This time we had a lovely surprise when we were given a Deluxe Room upgrade for free. What a wonderful start to our holiday.
The entire staff always give you a very warm welcome and are there to please you all throughout your stay. We cannot wait to visit the Annabelle once again next year.
been with you for years all great and great value
Hoping to return again next year
Airport service a disgrace. Made to stand in cold to await arrival of easyjet plane and cleaning for thirty mins. Captain did apologise, but not his fault.
Ex value hotel
Very good value for money
The Hotel staff were particularly helpful and courteous
